Chippa United revives hopes for their fans

The recent performance of Eastern Cape idols, Chippa United against Kaizer Chiefs in Durban seems to have revived the hopes and ecstasy among the Eastern Cape soccer fraternity.  This came evident when Chippa held the highly favoured Kaizer Chiefs to a 0-0 draw.  Chippa in the past months have been hovering over the relegation spot as their performances have been of lower standards characterized by loses and unnecessary draws.

Many believe Chippa was supposed to won the match after displaying an aggressive approach which had compelled Amakhosi to be defending during the better part of the game.  According to many fans in Gqheberha there is no doubt Chippa will win most of their coming games as they will be playing against sides which are of lower standards than Chiefs?  At the same time on the other side many fans believe the management of Chippa who constantly change coaches may have an effect on the team.

Meanwhile on the other side South African soccer fans reverberated into a deafening crescendo as the ladies side Banyana Banyana bounced into the following stages as they performed well to move to the final stages of the women’s tournament.  It is believed this has revived the hopes of South African soccer fans as this will bring back the respect of South African soccer standard in International football.  The South African national soccer fraternity for never performing up to standard in International Football.
