The Vusisizwe U/19 team is set to receive royal treatment this coming Sunday, as Paraffin Cafe, in collaboration with the Municipality, prepares to honour the young football stars following their impressive performance at this year’s Kay Motsepe Schools Championship. The recognition ceremony will celebrate the team’s achievements and shine a spotlight on the talent, dedication and hard work of the young players who proudly represented their school in the prestigious competition.

Among the key guests expected to attend is the Municipality’s MMC for Sports and Recreation, Cllr Vernon Bedworth, who will deliver a message of support on behalf of BVM. The initiative by Paraffin Cafe and the Municipality highlights the importance of recognising young sporting talent and encouraging the next generation of athletes to pursue their dreams. As the community prepares to celebrate the team, Sunday’s event promises to be a proud moment for the players, their coaches, supporters and everyone who has contributed to their journey.

The Acting School Principal and members of the Sports Committee are also expected to attend the ceremony, alongside the players and the technical team whose dedication, guidance and hard work have played a vital role in the team’s success. From the football field to community recognition, Vusisizwe’s young stars are proving that hard work, teamwork and determination deserve to be celebrated.
