South African soccer fraternity pays tribute to late Bafana coach

The highly popular Bafana Bafana coach late Clive Barker is said to have received highest praise as the best coach the national side has ever had. It is by Danny Jordan claimed the coach would spread his hands as if he was about to fly and it was later that South African soccer fraternity realised that he meant big.
As coach of the national side, Clive took Bafana Bafana to the highest levels as the South African squad grabbed the AFCON Cup in 1996. Clive had spent his time improving soccer in the best provinces of South Africa but he most of his time had been spent in Durban as he had coached AmaZulu FC. He passed away last week after a short illness and will be buried this Thursday. The Bafana coach will receive a provincial funeral after arrangement were agreed between the government and the KwaZulu Natal province.
His family had been visited by the President of South African Soccer Association, Danny Jordan and Arts and Culture Minister, Zizi Kodwa to give condolonces.
